Timothy Doyle is a writer and photographer who has lived for several years in India, Nepal and Bangladesh. Available here are selections from Going to Dolpo, an artistic account of a journey in the Nepal Himalaya, and Doyle's two photographic narratives: Travellers, a subterranean view of the Indian city Varanasi, and Dhaka Metro, a gritty and sometimes otherworldly glimpse into the Capital city of Bangladesh. This site also features selections of Doyle's fiction and nonfiction writings from South Asia. Timothy Doyle is now writing a trilogy of fiction set in Varanasi, India. He aims to assemble a substantial collection of writing and photography that is challenging, original and of high quality. |
